From four down to one, Xtreme Gaming become the last Chinese team remaining at PGL Wallachia Season 6.

It was a huge day for the Chinese Dota 2 teams at PGL Wallachia Season 6, as three stood on the brink of elimination. With Roar Gaming already exiting the tournament on Day 3, Day 4 would see Yakult Brothers, Team Tidebound, and Xtreme Gaming all facing elimination series. Their survival depended on taking a precious victory over GamerLegion, Tundra Esports, and Nigma Galaxy, respectively. With an early exit from the tournament on the line for every one of these teams, they would be throwing everything at the series.

It would be GamerLegion and Yakult Brothers to kick things off. With GL’s first step into Dota 2 as an organisation, their team choice of the ex-Wildcard roster seemed to be doing quite well so far. The team managed to out draft and outplay YK, although having an hour-long second game in the series. The final game would be the proving factor, with Francis “RCY” Fundemera’s Puck pulling off a huge RAMPAGE to end YK’s tournament.

Even with a few errors from Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko, which led to a longer game 1, the series between Tundra and Tidebound was quite close. The CN team were able to always keep themselves in contention during the early game, but once Tundra had found their footing, they raced ahead. Having survived the early game period on both occasions, Tundra managed to claim a 2-0 victory, eliminating yet another Chinese team from PGL Wallachia Season 6.

Going into the last elimination series of Day 4 at PGL Wallachia Season 6, we would see two teams from the top 6 at The International 2025 fighting it out to avoid elimination. As the last hope for CN Dota 2 at the event, XG had a rough start, with Wang “Ame” Chunyu’s Alchemist not getting the team ahead right away. But, as the first game progressed, XG were too much for NGX to withstand. Going into game 2, even with Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan on a Storm Spirit, it wasn’t enough to keep NGX alive in the event.

With that, a rough day of eliminations for Chinese Dota 2 teams ends with Xtreme Gaming being the sole survivor from the region. They join GamerLegion and Tundra on the final day of Group Stage action from PGL Wallachia Season 6, with HEROIC and MOUZ in the mix too.
