Two teams exit PGL Wallachia Season 7

It has only been three days of Group Stage action from PGL Wallachia Season 7, but two teams have now been eliminated from the event.

Day 3 of the PGL Wallachia Season 7 Group Stage has come to an end, and for two of the participating teams, so have their tournament lives. With a modified Swiss-system between all 16 teams, three losses would spell disaster for a team – while three wins would be enough to reach the playoffs. While there are still two days remaining from the Group Stage before we head into the playoffs, unfortunately for two teams, their tournament has come to an end.

MOUZ and Nemesis make no impact

Team Nemesis have definitely not had a great start to 2026, with failed qualifiers and only this tournament as their prospects for some time. While the team did have some tough opponents, which included Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming, their lacklustre performances would see them struggle to make anything happen. With their third loss coming today, they became the first team to be eliminated from PGL Wallachia Season 7.

As the reigning champions from the previous iteration of the event, MOUZ were hoping to make another great showing. However, after a rough start to the tournament, they were unable to find a way to their first series win to keep themselves alive for one more day. In their final series, while they managed to take things to a third game, OG slammed the door shut, holding on for another day – and sending MOUZ back to the drawing board.

While MOUZ have the prospect of ESL One Birmingham 2026 on the way in a few weeks, Nemesis will have a lot of time to rethink their plans for the year. PGL Wallachia Season 7 continues with more eliminations tomorrow, before the latter parts of the week will see a full double elimination bracket playoff stage.
