Tundra Esports has lost Whitemon from his IT 2025 position.

The Hamburg 2025 International Tournament is fast approaching, but unfortunately for some players, things are not going well in Hamburg.

As we count down the days to the Hamburg 2025 International Tournament, some unpleasant news is starting to come in. While most players haven't had visa issues, there are always some. While one Southeast Asian player has already been replaced due to health issues, another had to be replaced as well.

Whitemon will not be participating in TI 2025

After finishing third at The International 2024, Tundra Esports went to this year's TI 2024 hoping to win again. But while plans are still in the works, and will have to do so without their fifth reserve player, Matthew "Waitemon" Filemon. In a post on the team's X-account, Tundra released a statement about the player and his absence from the TI 2025 squad.

Unfortunately, Tundra will be traveling to the international tournament without Matthew "Waitemon" Philemon. This is due to unforeseen difficulties in the visa process. The team will adapt and move on, and we would like to thank Fissure Universe 5 champion Tobias "Tobi" Büchner for the quick integration. He has been with the team for the last few days in preparation and we are ready to meet IT again and overcome adversity."

The full Tundra lineup without Whitemon is as follows.

So far, with the exception of Waitemon and Wilson "poloson" Koch, as well as the relegated Gaimin Gladiators, none of these players have made it to the TI2025. With only a week to go until the tournament in Hamburg, Germany, the excitement is already palpable. Whether the changes will have a significant impact on Tundra's results when the countdown to TI2025 begins is yet to be seen.
