Tundra and HEROIC’s journey ends at PGL Wallachia Season 6
Eliminations were served for breakfast at PGL Wallachia Season 6. The day kicked off with four teams fighting for their tournament lives
While the games weren’t thrilling, the pressure was unmistakable, and both series carried the weight of teams chasing the trophy. Interestingly enough, it wasn’t flashy Dota, but it came down to strong drafts with perfect execution or interesting ones that fell short.
Mouz vs Heroic 2:0
Crystallis returned to the lineup, while Kaori remained in place of Seleri — a mid event adjustment that helped instead of hindered, keeping MOUZ from staring down an early tournament exit.
Although HEROIC came into the first game with the better draft on paper, the laning stage was a disaster. MOUZ ran over them in the first 15 minutes, building a lead that HEROIC never recovered from.
Game 2 opened with more promise for the South American squad as they secured a stronger start and even pulled ahead briefly, but a string of poor fights erased their momentum. Their all-in gamble on Dragon Knight in the final moments fizzled out, handing MOUZ the clean 2–0 sweep.
BetBoom vs Tundra 2:1
After Tundra’s devastating losses yesterday, they came into this series swinging. Tundra shined with one of their cleanest performances of the tournament. Their draft and execution were in perfect sync, turning the game into a masterclass.
However, in the second game, Tundra’s decision to draft Batrider mid looked shaky from the outset and ultimately unraveled their entire game plan, opening the door for BetBoom to take over fast. It was a crisp, decisive win for BetBoom, with both Kiritych and GPK finishing flawless games—and the rest of the squad matching their level every step of the way.
In the deciding game, Tundra was outdrafted by one of BetBoom’s best drafts so far. The Eastern European team executed the game plan to perfection, clinching the series.
BetBoom will continue their journey tomorrow, Saturday, November 22nd, at 09:00 CET, followed by MOUZ at 12:00 CET as they progress through the lower bracket.
There’s still plenty of Dota 2 ahead today. The action now shifts to the upper bracket, where PARIVISION faces Team Spirit at 15:00 CET, followed by OG vs. Team Liquid at 18:00 CET. The winners will advance to the Upper Bracket Finals, while the losers drop down to face BetBoom and MOUZ for their tournament lives.
