Singapore to host the very first BLAST Slam Dota 2 tournament with live audience

Singapore Indoor Stadium will open its doors in November for the first Dota 2 LAN held there since The International 2022.

BLAST Slam series is moving to Southeast Asia for its next tournament edition.

Singapore Indoor Stadium will open its doors in November for the first Dota 2 LAN held there since The International 2022 (TI11).

According to an official announcement from BLAST, the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be open for the live audience between November 7-9, 2025. The ticket sale is expected to open in the coming days, with a pre-sale also available for those who register on BLAST.tv. Besides that, BLAST has also announced a bundle option which will allow the fans to book their event tickets and the hotel accommodation at once.

Known for their Counter Strike tournaments, BLAST ventured into Dota 2 for the first time during the COVID pandemic with an online Bounty Hunt tournament, emphasising the fans' engagement, who were given the power to select different “bounty “challenges for teams each day of the tournament. The dynamic prize pool format for the teams and the overall refreshing tournament format left a strong mark on the community.

However, it took a few more years until BLAST was ready to implement a full series of events in Dota 2. At the end of 2024, the Danish tournament organiser announced the BLAST Slam series and their commitment to the professional scene through 2025 and 2026. The first BLAST Slam event took place in November 2024, with SLAM II and III held through the first part of 2025 in a LAN format at the Blast.tv studios from Copenhagen, Denmark.

BLAST Slam IV will be the first tournament in the Slam series to be held with a live audience, and more likely, it will be one of the first tier one LAN tournaments to be held after The International 2025. That means that it will give the fans the chance to see what the teams will look like after the big post-TI shuffle window.
