
PGL announces a 13 million dollar, three year plan for Dota 2
PGL has announced a long term plan for the competitive Dota 2 scene. The tournament organiser revealed a three-year schedule for its PGL Wallachia series that stretches through 2028.
Along with the long term plan, PGL has also revealed a revised schedule for the current year, adding another season to PGL Wallachia. PGL’s three-year commitment to Dota 2 with its 13 confirmed tournaments brings stability for the teams and predictability for fans. Each tournament will maintain a $1,000,000 prize pool, with plans to expand the calendar further by adding at least one additional event per year in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

PGL Wallachia Season 5 and 6 to unfold in 2025
Originally scheduled for November 15 - 23, 2025, PGL Wallachia Season 5 has been rescheduled to June 18 - 29, 2025, opening the door for more late-year competitions. PGL Wallachia Season 6 will unfold from November 4 to the 16th of the month, which means an extra tournament for the current year.
Looking further, PGL has also revealed the calendar for the next three years, with three tournaments in 2026 and four in each of the next two years.
