Parker removed from Peru Rejects after conflict with teammates
South American carry player David “Parker” Nicho Flores has been removed from Peru Rejects, according to comments made by teammate Farith “Matthew” Puente during a live stream with Benjaz. Matthew described a series of internal conflicts and erratic behavior that led the team to replace Parker with Payk ahead of DreamLeague Division II.
During the stream, Matthew recounted that issues began on the first day of play:
Moti [Parker] picked Gyrocopter and made this weird build that basically ruined the game. He said it would be fine if we got Roshan. It just made me uncomfortable — I felt like he was distracted. Sometimes he joined the Discord and fell asleep with his camera on, and we could see him sleeping. I just felt like he was playing as best as he could.
Matthew added that frustration toward Parker’s attitude was shared by the entire roster:
Everyone told me they felt like he was just messing around, not taking things seriously, and that if I preferred to play with Payk, they’d prefer to play with Payk too. We had a meeting after the series, and I said — not just to Parker, to everyone — ‘if you’re going to screw around, the last thing I want is to play this tournament, because the last thing I want is to get stressed and waste my time.’ And the guy just exploded. (…) He took it super personally… he said, ‘you think you’re the best player in the world,’ and started throwing insults. Ten minutes later, they told me he’d also argued with Mago [DarkMago], and that they’d rather play with Payk.
Following this altercation, Peru Rejects moved forward without Parker, playing subsequent matches with Payk in the carry role.
Despite the internal dispute, the updated roster went on to win the American qualifier for PGL Wallachia Season 6, earning a place in the tournament’s main stage — suggesting the new lineup found stability and success in Parker’s absence.
A recurring pattern
This latest conflict reinforces a pattern of short stints and teammate disputes that have followed Parker throughout the past two years. In November 2024, he was benched by HEROIC after the ESL One Bangkok South America qualifiers due to what the organization called a “conflict in the team” and “lack of desire to win.”
Earlier, while standing in for Mosquito Clan, Parker reportedly fell asleep during a draft, leading to a technical loss for the team.
He was also accused of account boosting and misuse in early 2024 and later claimed that, although still under contract with Team Secret, the organization told him “they’re not going to play [him].”
Across multiple community discussions on Reddit, Parker has been described as a talented yet volatile player whose behavior in pubs and professional settings often strains team dynamics.
While not an official team statement, Matthew’s first-hand account publicly confirms Parker’s removal from Peru Rejects’ active roster and provides insight into the internal conflict that led to the decision. The situation underscores an ongoing tension between Parker’s mechanical skill and recurring questions about discipline and teamwork, a pattern that continues to define his turbulent career across multiple organizations.
