PARIVISION are the champions of DreamLeague Season 29
DreamLeague Season 29’s culmination came today with the lower bracket final before an immense grand final between PARIVISION and Aurora Gaming.
After an intense tournament, which saw a barrage of Dota 2 games going over the hour mark, DreamLeague Season 29 had reached its final day. With three teams remaining, and one grand final on the cards, there was now just the championship title to play for.
With Aurora Gaming taking down Team Spirit in the opening series of the lower bracket final, they were ready to meet PARIVISION in the grand finals. While Aurora has had the better of most of the two teams’ 2026 meetings, PV seemed to be on a new path upwards, hoping to finally claim a massive victory in a Tier 1 tournament for 2026.
PARIVISION are back on top
DL Season 29 has made us very familiar with the long-haul Dota 2 games, where everything goes back and forth for well over an hour. However, the grand finals took us on a completely different path, with two teams able to secure their victories in a timely manner. Between Game 1 and 2, both PV and Aurora made only a single hero change each to their picks. The results varied, with PV taking the first, before it was all tied up at 1-1 by Aurora.
PV brought themselves up to championship point with Game 3, as the Edgar “9Class” Naltakian IO came out to guide their way. But it was not over yet, as Aurora made sure that we would see a full 5-game series. With everything even at 2-2, one last game in the grand finals was set to decide which team would become the champions of DreamLeague Season 29.
Although an unconventional pick, the Game 5 Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov Gyrocopter with the 9Class IO at his side was the perfect choice. By the half hour mark, PV were in full command of the game, controlling the map and pulling far ahead. In a final throw of the dice, defending their last lane of barracks, Aurora threw everything at PV, but to no avail. With Mega Creeps marching into their base and the tier 4 towers falling, it was all over.
With that, PARIVISION became the champions of DreamLeague Season 29, claiming their first Tier 1 tournament victory since DreamLeague Season 26 in 2025. While the two teams will now have a short break, they will both be back in action with many others at BLAST Slam VII later this week, before all our eyes turn to France for the EWC 2026.
