ESL One Raleigh 2025 came to a close this past Sunday night, April 13, with PARIVISION making a lower bracket comeback run to claim all the glory on the Raleigh Convention Center stage. The ESL One Raleigh 2025 grand finals featured the two teams that had the best win records in the group stage, and interestingly enough, both came from Group A.

PARIVISION was the team with the best performance through the group play, placing at the top of their group with a 9-1 game record. Their only defeat came at the hands of Team Spirit, who finished 8-2 and placed second in the same Group A.

Moving into the playoffs, it was Team Spirit who cruised through the upper bracket rounds to reach the grand finals, while PARIVISION had to fight their way back through elimination series from the second round of the lower bracket. On their way to redemption, PARIVISION knocked out of the tournament the likes of Team Liquid, BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports.

It was a long finals day for PARIVISION, who made a 2-1 reverse sweep against Tundra Esports in the lower bracket final, only to be pushed a couple of hours later to a game four by Team Spirit, who didn’t go down without a fight in the grand finals.

PARIVISION vs Team Spirit 3-1

Game one of the best-of-five finale showcased how evenly matched PARIVISON and Team Spirit were. Neither team was able to establish a clear advantage through the laning stage. However, PARIVISION were given a window of opportunity around the 30-minute mark, when Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk wanted to take the mid lane tier 2 tower all alone. He was heavily punished and died without a buyback, which gave PARIVISION the courage to pressure hard at a time when, in fact, none of the Spirit players had enough gold for buybacks. Two more pickoffs on Spirit’s players were enough for PARIVISION to close the game in the next five minutes and start the grand finals with a win.

Spirit ran back the same draft in game two, but with a twist. Yatoro and Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov swapped their heroes, which meant that they played an offlane Terrorblade and a carry Medusa. But swapping roles didn’t do the trick. It was much worse for Spirit, who were completely run over from start to finish.

A game away from the championship title, PARIVISION decided to follow the core meta and went with an offlane Medusa and carry Beastmaster, while Team Spirit had the overall last pick and punished them with heavy burst damage. They last picked Leshrac for Denis "Larl" Sigitov and tormented PARIVISION with a simple and extremely effective combo revolving around Grimstroke’s Ink Swell. They had a Sand King, a Tiny and a Tinker to combo it with and force a game four.

The Grimstroke pick made such a big difference for Spirit that they decided to run it again in the next game, however, they allowed PARIVISION to have some of their comfort picks.

Spirit’s own prodigy find, Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov dismantled them with a carry Templar Assassin. He had a perfect, deathless game, going 14/0/4 K/D/A to win his first Tier 1 Championship title at ESL One Raleigh 2025. This tournament victory is also cementing a direct invite to the Riyadh Masters, Esports World Cup 2025 for PARIVISION, who are now back-to-back ESL One Champions in the 2024-2025 competitive season.
