OG come out swinging at PARI Universe

PARI Universe continued its Group Stage with Day 2, which saw another four Dota 2 series played. While many teams were on the second series of the tournament, OG and BetBoom Team came into Day 2 ready for their first. Although still early in the Group Stage, teams were hoping to get the best footing to move on and OG did just that, leaving their opponents in a precarious position.
As Day 3 approaches, things are shaping up in both Group A and B quite well.
OG take their revenge over 1W
During BLAST SLAM VIII, OG and 1win Team met in the last chance series, where OG were unable to convert a Game 1 victory into a series win. With that, 1w eliminated them from the tournament. But now, at PARI Universe, the team had a chance for some revenge, albeit not to eliminate their opponents on this occasion, but to set them back after 1w already lost their first series on Day 1.
Between Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, John Anthony “Natsumi” Vargas and the rest of the OG lineup, they made swift work of their opponent. Unfortunately for 1w, needing to stand-in for Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov, Rafli "Mikoto" Fathur could not control the mid-lane, and the rest did not go as planned either. With a 2-0 victory, OG gave themselves a strong start to their tournament, which they would need going into their second series against Team Yandex on Day 3 of PARI Universe.
Day 2 wrapped up
Day 1 at PARI Universe produced four series which all ended 2-0. Day 2 went the same way. OG kicked it off with a 2-0 over 1W, before GamerLegion put a spanner in Team Liquid’s with a beautiful display of talent. While Liquid was without Michael “miCKe” Vu and saw Denys "rincyq" Bohushev standing in, they could not find a way to keep up with GL.
Astra Invicta managed to find their first victory too, taking down a very weak-looking BB Team. A Broodmother pick for Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov would not be the answer to their troubles, while Astra managed to find the perfect way to play around some superb Black Holes from Matvey "MieRo" Vasyunin’s Enigma.
PARIVISION closed out Day 2 with another 2-0, with LEGION struggling against extremely strong opponents. While no team is ensured elimination just yet, both 1W and LEGION are precariously close to being the two teams to not make it into the Playoffs at PARI Universe. However, Day 3 is right around the corner, and both teams have a chance to redeem themselves, even for a short time, as the tournament continues over the weekend.
