A new challenger appears from SEA as Xipto Esports enters the Dota 2 scene

Dota 2 is an ever-growing esports world. Some teams, players, and organisations stand the test of time, remaining a constant within the game. Ever so often, a new name appears, ready to challenge the rest, and hopefully stamp their mark in the game’s history books. One such organisation has now appeared, with Xipto Esports joining into the Dota 2 world with a strong Southeast Asian roster.
Xipto Esports comes to play
As teams set themselves up for the new season, we see some rosters disbanding and others changing up their lineups. As such, there are also completely new rosters forming, as players team up and hope to find their footing early on. For Xipto, the organisation will be entering the Dota 2 scene for the first time but bring in a well-known roster ready to fight.
Xipto Esports is not a brand-new organisation. Since 2024, the Singaporean organisation have been a part of the Valorant scene. However, their entrance into Dota 2 proves that the region still has a ton to offer, with some of the best players.
The new Xipto roster is:
- Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon
- Muhammad Rizky "inYourdreaM" Anugrah
- Saieful "Fbz" Ilham
- Worawit "Q" Mekchai
- Chan "Oli" Chon Kien
In a post made via X announcing their arrival, the organisation mentioned that that the roster was not complete, as they were now in search of a coach.
Many of these players have spent time together previously on various different rosters. However, together as 5, this will be their first time on the same squad. Although there is currently no information on where their first tournament or qualifier might be, it will be interesting to see just how a new SEA stack fairs as we head into another Dota 2 season.
