NAVI Junior to replace Tundra Esports at DreamLeague Season 26

Tundra Esports withdraw from DreamLeague Season 26 the final the final ESL Pro Tour (EPT) event before Riyadh Masters 2025.

Tundra Esports withdraw from DreamLeague Season 26 the final the final ESL Pro Tour (EPT) event before Riyadh Masters 2025, the Dota 2 tournament Esports World Cup.

Tundra Esports earned their spot at DreamLeague Season 26 via regional qualifiers. There were three spots up for grabs in the Western Europe region, and Tundra were first to secure their spot at the $1,000,000 tournament.

DreamLeague Season 26 also has a total of 29,200 ESL Pro Tour (EPT) Points to offer, and it’s the last event in the EPT schedule before Esports World Cup. At the end of it, the top 8 teams in the EPT leaderboard will receive a direct invite at the $3,000,000 Riyadh Masters 2025, the Dota 2 competition at this year’s Esports World Cup.

Currently, Tundra sits in 6th place (7,050 points), making their Riyadh invite almost guaranteed unless roster changes trigger point deductions.

NAVI Junior to replace Tundra Esports

According to ESL, Tundra’s spot at DreamLeague Season 26 went to the next eligible team from the Western European Qualifiers. That’s NAVI Junior, who placed 6th in the qualifier battle. Although there are two more teams that placed better NAVI Junior in the qualifiers, namely Team Secret and Capy Baras, neither of them has a full roster anymore.

Tundra haven’t made any official announcement regarding their decision to withdraw, but a possible speculation is that they want to use the time left before Riyadh and The International 2025 to properly rest and come freshened up at the two biggest tournaments of the competitive season.

EPT Standings and implications for Riyadh Masters 2025
