Match of the day: Team Liquid vs PARIVISION - DreamLeague Season 25

DreamLeague Season 25 is in full swing with the second group stage reaching the midpoint.

A total of eight teams made it to the second group stage at DreamLeague Season 25. Four more will fall at the end of it, and for The International 2023 Champions, the situation is dire. However, at the midpoint in Group Stage #2, Team Liquid are once again on the edge of elimination. They are already at the bottom of the group with zero wins and three defeats, so today’s best-of-three series against PARIVISION is crucial for Liquid, who can’t afford another loss.

While Liquid struggled for the entire tournament so far, PARIVSIION seem to be thriving in the chaos that 7.38 brought with it. They suffered just one loss in the first group stage, to Team Spirit, and before today’s series, PARIVISION are tied for the first spot in the group with Chimera Esports. They boast a clean 3-0 series score with victories already secured against the favourites at the title, Tundra Esports and Team Falcons.

Team Liquid and PARIVISION had already played against each other three times this year. The best outcome of the previous battles is a 1-1 draw score in the first group play at DreamLeague Season 25. Prior to that, PARIVISION had bested Liquid 2-1 at Fissure Playground #1 at the end of January and landed another 2-1 victory earlier this month in Denmark at BLAST Slam II.
