Coming off a few roster changes and a magnificent TI 2025, HEROIC claimed victory at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7.

The International 2025 is behind us, but we still have found memories of HEROIC’s amazing run through the tournament. With a fifth/sixth place finish, the South American team conquered the hearts of many and left as a team that would not be forgotten. Following that, the team entered the post-TI roster shuffle to make some changes. With Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn coming in as the offlaner and Adrián “Wisper” Céspedes Dobles moving to the middle lane role, HEROIC went into the first post-TI tournament with high hopes and managed to beat some of the best to become victorious.

A HEROIC performance brings a win

Having received a direct invite to FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, HEROIC saw themselves skipping the Group Stage and moving directly into the playoffs. However, that did not change the tough road ahead of them in the tournament. The team’s first challenge was 1w Team, before going up against Aurora Gaming and Team Liquid. Dropping only a single game, which was against Liquid, HEROIC battled their way into the Grand Finals, where MOUZ would be their challenger.

After losing game 1 to MOUZ in the grand finals, HEROIC was ready to turn up the heat. Even when MOUZ were on top again in game 3, the South Americans turned it around with some magnificent plays from their squad. With Wisper’s first time in the mid lane, the player proved that he is set to be a star in that role. Eventually HEROIC took the series 3-1 and would become the champions of FISSURE Universe: Episode 7.

With the win in the bag, HEROIC now look to bigger tournaments, namely BLAST Slam IV, which kicks off on October 14th. However, the team have also been invited to PGL Wallachia Season 6, BLAST Slam V, and DreamLeague Season 27, all which will take place before the end of 2025. We are excited to see if this win will be exactly what HEROIC need to kick off the time of South American Dota 2.
