Get rdy: Competitive guide for March 27th-April 2nd

The weekend is almost here and that usually means events and competitive matches are in full swing. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

Counter-Strike 2

BLAST Open Spring 2026

BLAST Open Spring 2026 will head into the playoffs this weekend, Vitality will probably win.

Qualifiers

100 Thieves face their toughest challenge yet in trying to qualify for PGL Astana, because they're up against six different Russian-speaking teams in an online bracket, which is a fate one would not wish on their worst enemies.

There's HOTU, who are pretty well-known for being a tough opponent, along with K27, WW (with the infamous but talented deko), magic, Lavked and ACROBATS, which while not even ranked by Valve, have FL1T and fame, the star duo of a Major winning team. Oh, and the one non-Russian speaking team is illwill, who have been on a tear and look set for Major qualification as things stand.

If they get through this, they bloody well deserve it.

Dota 2

ESL One Birmingham 2026

ESL One Birmingham 2026 will take place from March 22 to 29 in the United Kingdom, featuring 16 teams fighting for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize. What started as 16 is now down to eight as we head into the playoffs this weekend. The stakes are high between EPT points up for grabs towards Esports World Cup and TI invites on the horizon.

Team Yandex will go head-to-head with Team Spirit in the opening playoff match today, March 26th at 13:00 CET. Tomorrow fans are sure to want to catch Team Falcons battling it out against PARIVISION.

Either way, all of the matches will be worth catching as teams find their footing around the new patch that was just dropped.

Regional Affairs

Local and regional fans have some treats on the menu this week.

Eastern Europe

European Pro League Season 35 is winding down. There were originally 12 teams competing online for $20,000, but became eleven when Astini+5 dropped out midway through the group stage. Frontrunners right now are Zero Tenacity and Team Lynx.

Tennisi Stampede Champions: Season 2 is winding down with only two more days of play. The teams are competing for a slice of the $5,000 prize pool.

Southeast Asia

EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 13 began on March 4th and will continue through the 26th. Eight local teams have been competing for the $10,000 prize. Yangon Galacticos won last season which just wrapped up and most of the team list is the same from then too.
