Get rdy: Competitive guide for February 13-19th

The weekend is almost here and that usually means events and competitive matches are in full swing. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

Counter-Strike 2

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 will kick off on Saturday, February 14th with 16 teams fighting for the lion's share of the $625,000 prize pool in Romania.

While Vitality are the obvious 'team to watch' in that they are the best in the world, that's not very interesting. The top teams are depressingly stagnant, so instead interest lies in the tier below; Astralis look miles better than pretty much anyone expected after their changes, while FUT hung on to their wunderkinder and seem to be building something special. There's also some morbid curiosity around B8 following the segukawa debacle, though that will likely be shortlived (two series, or so).

Dota 2

BLAST Slam VI

BLAST Slam VI: Malta kicked off on February 3 and will continue through the 15th. Twelve teams converged on the island to compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool and the coveted Slam trophy.

Tundra entered the event as the safest title pick, having captured four consecutive BLAST Slam trophies and turning dominance into routine but have already been knocked out.

The action resumes on Friday, February 13th with Team Falcons going head-to-head with Team Liquid at 14:00 CET followed by Team Yandex taking on HEROIC.

Playoffs (February 13th to 15th, 2026)

Beginning with BLAST Slam VI, the entire LAN playoff stage will be an endurance battle, as every series, from the opening quarterfinals to the grand finals, will be played in a best-of-five(Bo5) format.

Matches will be played on LAN at the BLAST Studios in Malta

  • 2 Quarter finals (Bo5)
  • 2 Semifinals (BO5)
  • Grand Final (BO5)

DreamLeague Season 28

DreamLeague Season 28 is scheduled to take place from February 16 - March 1st with $1,000,000 on the line. We're back to 16 teams as opposed to the whopping 24 teams we saw in DreamLeague Season 27.

All of the usual suspects will be on hand to compete, but all eyes will be on paiN Gaming who has made their return by signing Peru Rejects

Group Stage 1 (February 16 - February 20)

Two single round-robin groups of eight teams each All series consist of two games Top four teams from each group advance to group stage 2 Remaining teams are eliminated

Regional Affairs

Local and regional fans have some treats on the menu this week.

Europe

European Pro League Season 34 returned on January 31st with 12 teams compete for a share of the $20,000 prize and is expected to end on February 16th. The big news comes in the shape of drama for this event. Ivan "4IVAN" Moshkovskiy has been suspended from all EPL tournaments, including EPL Season 34, following reports and pending investigations of unfair play. The accusations include match-fixing during a game against Ilbirs eSport. The player disconnected a few times before connecting a final time and standing on the base for 26 minutes. Gambling site screenshots showed a $155k bet on the game sparking speculation 4IVAN was involved.

CCT Season 2 Series 7 takes place from February 12-20th with 12 teams fighting for a portion of the $40,000 prize pool. While most of the teams hail from CIS region, Valinor comes in from Turkey.

Southeast Asia

EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 12 began on February 2nd and will continue through the 20th. Seven local teams have been competing for the $10,000 prize. Carstensz Esports, an Indonesian-based organization, assembled its first roster and officially stepping into the scene. They signed Randy "Dreamocel" Sapoetra, Ryan “Raging Potato” Qui, and Malaysian legend Wong “ChuaN” Hock will take on the role of head coach. So far the team is sitting in the middle of the pack as they try to survive the group stage.

A new season of Lunar Snake Trophy 6 started on February 7th. Ten teams are competing for $15,000. Carstensz Esports is busy here too trying to find their footing. The action is expected to wrap up March 3rd.
