It is almost time for The International 2025 to kick off, but before that, we have one final tournament – FISSURE Universe Episode 6.

As we quickly approach The International 2025, the teams will be busy with their last-minute preparations. However, as they prepare, one final event will give them a chance for a bit of practice before the prestige of TI takes hold. FISSURE Universe Episode 6 will bring together 10 teams, most of which are heading to TI, for one final event before they head to Hamburg, Germany.

##FISSURE Universe Episode 6: The teams are set On August 19th, 10 Dota 2 teams will gather to fight in the final event set before The International 2025. The event, held completely online, will give 8 of the 10 teams a chance to practice some final strategies before TI. Having completed and qualified through play-ins, 2 of the teams will need to pull out all the stops to overcome the mass of TI hopefuls. The event, kicking off on August 19th, runs through to August 24th. The 10 teams playing in FISSURE Universe Episode 6 are:

Team Liquid

Aurora Gaming

Team Tidebound

Team Falcons

AVULUS (play-in)

The tournament will see the 10 teams split into 2 groups of 5. The teams will play in a round-robin of best-of-two series within their group. The top teams from each will advance directly into the upper bracket for the playoffs, while second and third place advance into the lower bracket. With four teams facing elimination during the group stage, there will be everything to play for as soon as FISSURE Universe Episode 6 begins.

Although the groups have yet to be decided, with the tournament quickly approaching, they should be up in the coming week. The entire tournament will be streamed via the official FISSURE Kick channel for English viewers.

With a prize pool of $250,000 on the line, the teams will be coming out strong for FISSURE Universe Episode 6. With Tidebound having come off the back of a huge win at the recent Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi, it will be interesting to see if the Chinese squad can dominate once again.
