Esports World Cup Qualifiers: A Survival Guide

As we approach the beginning of the Esports World Cup, the Qualifiers are set to kick off, with some huge Dota 2 teams involved.
The Esports World Cup (EWC) comes our way in July, with the Dota 2 tournament kicking off on the 7th. While 16 teams are set to participate in the event, 10 have already been confirmed. The remaining 6 will need to fight through some rather intense regional qualifiers. With that in mind, we break down each region, when their qualifiers begin, and the teams fighting for a spot at the EWC.

The Qualifiers for the EWC 2025 Dota 2 tournament are divided into 6 separate regions. While each region has upwards of 4 teams, each has only one spot available. This makes it much more interesting when looking at Western Europe and MESWA.
Each region’s specific qualifiers take place over 3 days, beginning from June 5th and running through to June 13th, depending on the region.
We have already seen China’s qualifier come to an end, with the Asian Champions League. Through this, Xtreme Gaming beat out Team Tidebound to secure their spot at the EWC. While Gaimin Gladiators will also be present, after receiving a direct invite due to being the reigning champions, the remaining teams have a lot of work to do.
With teams such as OG, Team Secret, and Nigma Galaxy part of these qualifiers, they will definitely become a worthwhile watch. As only a month remains until the massive $3,000,000 EWC Dota 2 tournament kicks off, everything is starting to get interesting.
