Clavisions Masters Snow-Ruyi is the next tournament on the Dota 2 calendar

After the Esports World Cup is over, the next stop for Dota 2 is China, where the Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi kicks off.

Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi 2025 starts on July 28, and 10 teams will compete for their share of the $700,000 prize pool. Among them are many contenders for The International 2025. This makes the event a great precursor to the prestigious tournament where teams can showcase their skills and try out new strategies.

Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi kicks off in China

With Esports World Cup 2025 in the background, many teams are starting to prepare for TI 2025. There will only be a few tournaments between these two events, so teams will have very few opportunities to go head-to-head. With that in mind, we have Clavision Masters Snow Ruyi 2025, an offline competition taking place in Zhangjiakou, Shanghai.

It features 10 teams, including 6 that will be traveling to Hamburg, Germany for TI 2025 in September. While the tournament is not as large, Clavision's partnership with OGA Dota Pit has increased the prize pool to a staggering $700,000.

Initially, Aurora Gaming team took part in the tournament. However, due to personal reasons of one of the players, the team decided to withdraw from the tournament. Thus, the place was left open for Team Yandex.

At the tournament 10 teams will be divided into two groups. At the group stage, each team will play in its group in a round robin system. The top team from each group will advance to the playoff semifinals, while the second and third places in each group will advance to the quarterfinals of the top group. The remaining two teams from each group will advance to the bottom group, where they will be eliminated from the start.

All games are played in a best-of-three format, but the grand finals will be a best-of-five bout to determine the champion of Clavision Masters Snow Ruyi 2025.
