BLAST Slam VI Survival Guide; Teams, format, schedule, prize pool

BLAST Slam Circuit returns tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3rd, for its sixth edition, bringing 12 teams into the race for the largest slice of the $1,000,000 prize pool. The event begins online in Europe with the Group Stage, followed by the Last Chance Playoffs and Play-In phase before the LAN finals.

The central storyline is familiar: who, if anyone, can finally interrupt Tundra Esports’ iron grip on the BLAST Slam circuit.

BLAST Slam VI Hottest Contenders

With a million dollars and another BLAST title on the line, the field is stacked with teams eager to set the tone for the new year. Still, a few names rise clearly above the rest.

The safest bet remains Tundra. There is simply something about this roster and BLAST trophies. On December 7, 2025, they secured their fourth consecutive BLAST Slam championship, turning what was once a streak into what now feels like ownership.

Team Yandex arrives as perhaps the most compelling challengers. They authored the underdog story of BLAST Slam V, only to be swept 0:3 by Tundra in the grand finals. Yandex then ended 2025 by lifting the DreamLeague Season 27 trophy — the organization’s first Tier 1 title and, for much of the roster, their first real taste of top-level success.

They come into BLAST Slam VI with something very specific in mind: revenge.

BLAST Slam VI Question Marks

MOUZ remain one of the hardest teams to predict. At their peak, they can dismantle anyone. At their worst, they look strangely fragile. They finished 3-4th at BLAST Slam V before surging to win PGL Wallachia Season 6, only to stumble into a disappointing 9-16th finish at DreamLeague Season 27. Their 5-6th place at FISSURE to start the year suggests they are still searching for consistency.

Team Spirit arrive under unusual circumstances. Midlaner Denis “Larl” Sigitov has been moved to inactive status for six weeks and is replaced by Marat “Mirele” Gazetdinov. Coach Airat “Silent” Gaziev has also stepped away temporarily. Despite these disruptions, Spirit somehow continue to do what they always seem to do: reach grand finals. They finished runner-up at FISSURE just yesterday, proving that even a shuffled Spirit lineup remains dangerous.

The action kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd at 10:00 CET with Falcons vs GamerLegion and Tundra vs REKONIX
