Team Tidebound has confirmed their new roster for the Dota 2 season, with Bach and bLink exiting the team.
Having managed a 7th/8th finish at The International 2025, Team Tidebound was set for some roster changes after Cheng “NothingToSay” Xiang departed from the team earlier in the month. Now, with three weeks before the team are set to participate in PGL Wallachia Season 6, their new roster has been confirmed.
A new roster makes way
Throughout 2025, Tidebound has been making waves in the Dota 2 professional scene. Although the team only managed to take a win at the Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi, they showed up as strong contenders at events such as PGL Wallachia Season 4 and FISSURE Universe: Episode 4. With a strong roster featuring some well-known names from the Chinese Dota 2 sphere, Tidebound managed to make it to TI 2025. Unfortunately, their early exit meant that NTS would depart the roster on October 1st, heading to Xtreme Gaming.

Now, according to a post made via the team’s X account, the team has confirmed their new roster. With the departure of Zhang “Bach” Ruida, their offlane, and coach Zhou “bLink” Yang, Tidebound opened their team up to some new faces. This includes ex-LGD coach, Yao “Yao” Zhengzheng, Xu "Echo" Ziliang, and Li "niu" Kongbo.
While Echo has played for the likes of EHOME, Team Aster, and LGD Gaming, much of his 2025 career has been with smaller teams through qualifiers. Niu, their new position 3 player, was previously the team’s assistant coach, but would be making the swap to player to join the new roster. As for Yao, he has been a part of the Dota 2 scene since the beginning, known for his coaching roles with PSG.LGD, EHOME, and playing alongside LGD Gaming and CDEC Gaming.

- Yao “Yao” Zhengzheng (coach)
Tidebound will play their first event with this new roster in November, when they head to PGL Wallachia Season 6. As for Bach and bLink, no further news on the two players is available at the current time of writing, but we are sure to see them back in action soon.
