Aurora Gaming dominates DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3

After a great victory at FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, Aurora Gaming secured another win with an unstoppable performance at DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3.

Having recently won FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, Aurora Gaming were back in action once again this week, with the DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3 event. While another tier 2 tournament, the team were in prime position to claim the final spot at DreamLeague Season 28, if they were to win. With some tough challengers in their path, Aurora proved to be unstoppable, as they locked in their spot for next week’s tournament.

Aurora Gaming unbeaten

Right from the start of DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3, Aurora took control. With an untouchable 7-0 through the Group Stage, the team suffered only 3 game defeats but still took every series on their march forward. Entering the upper bracket of the playoffs, the team remained nearly completely unbeaten, dropping only a single game as they moved into the grand finals.

The culmination of the tournament would see a rematch of the upper bracket finals, with Nigma Galaxy scrambling to qualify into another event. Unfortunately for Nigma, their struggles continued, as they were obliterated by Aurora in a swift 3-0 sweep. This leaves them with only ESL One Birmingham 2026 as their prospects for the opening tournaments of 2026.

On the other hand, Aurora Gaming has now locked themselves into another tournament for the year. However, after two tier 2 tournament wins, the team will definitely need to focus and see if they can breeze through the rest of the pack.
