All 16 teams are set for PGL Wallachia Season 7
PGL Wallachia Season 7 qualifiers have come to an end, with 16 teams now all locked in for the March 2026 tournament.
January 2026 has been a time for Dota 2 qualifiers, with multiple tournaments finding their roster of teams to attend. The final qualifier for the month has now concluded. PGL Wallachia Season 7 kicks off in March, and now has each of the 16 teams locked in. While 12 teams obtained their spots through direct invites, another 4 fought through the regional closed qualifiers to reach the event.
With all teams now locked in, we take a look at all the teams that will be fighting to claim the next PGL Wallachia title when Season 7 gets underway on March 7th.
16 teams head towards PGL Wallachia Season 7
While we saw 12 teams receive a direct invite into PGL Wallachia Season 7 earlier in the week, the regional closed qualifiers have not concluded too, with another 4 teams coming through those. With only one spot available for each of the qualifiers, it was a rough road for some, having to progress through open qualifiers first. However, with that said, all 16 teams are now confirmed, as we head into the 2026 Dota 2 season.
Asia’s qualifier, now combining Southeast Asia and China, saw an amazing battle between Vici Gaming and Team Nemesis to claim the spot at the event. With both teams having narrowly missed out in recent qualifiers, Nemesis managed to secure a 3-2 victory and lock in for PGL Wallachia Season 7 as the second SEA challenger alongside OG.

For Western Europe, we saw Nigma Galaxy and Virtus.pro both knocked out early in the closed qualifier, with Yellow Submarine reaching their first Tier 1 event since PGL Wallachia Season 3 early in 2025. Eastern Europe would see Power Rangers beat out 1w Team to reach PGL Wallachia Season 7 with an interesting stack featuring many players from the ex-Runa Team organisation.
The final region was, once again, the most interesting, with the Americas seeing HEROIC and Perú Rejects fighting in yet another regional qualifier grand finals. While it had been Rejects to dominate in two of the recent match ups, this time something seemed to go horribly wrong. A 15-minute game three victory for HEROIC in which their new mid lane player, Santiago Olivos “TaiLung” Agüero Gustavo showed off an unkillable Huskar secured the win for the team.
