A double rampage for Malr1ne keeps Team Falcons in the playoffs at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2

In the final elimination series for Day 3 of the playoffs at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, Team Spirit would go up against Team Falcons.

Having survived a tough series against Tundra Esports earlier in the day, Team Falcons were back in action in the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 playoffs, this time taking on Team Spirit. While the two teams met on multiple occasions in 2025, Falcons were the team to knock Spirit out of The International earlier in the year. With their last meeting coming at BLAST Slam IV, where Falcons were victorious, Spirit would be hoping for some revenge this time around.

The reigning TI champions march forward

With the first two series of the day going the full three-game distance, Spirit would be hoping for the same fate after being absolutely decimated in game 1. Although the early game was fairly up and down, Falcons fantastic draft was nearly unstoppable as they took control and forced Spirit into submission after only 33-minutes.

It was a complete turn around for Spirit, which is exactly what they needed, in game 2. With Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk’s Morphling dominating, and the Primal Beast from Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov stomping Falcons down, Spirit were able to take another elimination series to a decisive game 3. From a strong laning phase, Spirit converted into constant pick-offs with their brilliant team fighting draft bringing the Falcons to ground.

With a final that went way over the hour mark, neither team was willing to give up their spot in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2. With a Venomancer pick, Spirit looked to change things up a bit, but Falcons played as TI champions would. With the game turning into chaotic brawls across the map, Falcons were the ones left standing when the dust settled. With a RAMPAGE for Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, Falcons closed things out with a 2-1 victory.

After a full day of grueling action from Day 1 of the playoffs at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, we saw three teams eliminated. However, tomorrow we will see more action, including an epic Upper Bracket final between Team Yandex and BetBoom Team.
