4nalog and Lelis bring a Brazilian touch to the new Team Nemesis roster

Over the past week, Team Nemesis has seen a great departure of players, but now, the roster has been rebuilt with 1win Essence I on the way.

Team Nemesis has been struggling along through 2026, without too much to write home about. With appearances at PGL Wallachia Season 7 and DreamLeague Season 27, the team has mostly been finding their footing in qualifiers. Although many of these have not gone their way, Nemesis seemed to always bounce back to the next. However, this past week has seen a big change, as multiple players departed from the roster, opening speculation of a disband.

But a rebuild was what was on the cards, as Team Nemesis announced their new additions on April 29th.

Team Nemesis confirm their new roster

After we saw coach Park “March” Tae-won, Worawit “Q” Mekchai, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, and Mc Nicholson “Mac” Villanueva all part ways with Nemesis over this past week, it seemed as though the team was in dire shape. With no major tournaments lined up in the coming month, losing almost a full roster was not a good look. However, Nemesis took to their social media accounts on April 29th, announcing three players coming on board, as they move forward.

The first announcement would see João Gabriel “4nalog” Giannini Santos rejoining the team, having played with them as a stand-in for DreamLeague Season 27 earlier this year. This would be the first of two Brazilian players, as Rodrigo “Lelis” Lelis Santos was confirmed, before Vladislav “rubikon” Gaidau rounded out the roster in the position 1 role.

The team may not have any major tournaments lined up, but they will debut this new roster at the upcoming 1win Essence I event, beginning on May 2nd. The full new lineup for Team Nemesis is:

  • Vladislav “rubikon” Gaidau
  • João Gabriel “4nalog” Giannini Santos
  • Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
  • Rodrigo “Lelis” Lelis Santos
  • Jaunuel “Januel” Arcilla

The team will be up against some of the best Dota 2 teams in the world, even without it being a Tier 1 event, but will only see their first series on May 4th.
