Team and talent bundles replace The International compendium this year

Valve changed the pace once again for The International. The Compendium is gone, but there are still ways to support your favourite team or talent directly, and even win some rewards. Supporter packs are back.

Firstly introduced during the Dota Pro Circuit, the supporter bundles are back for The International 2025. They come in three tiers, and 50% of every sale goes directly to the team or talent. Additionally, 30% from each supporter bundle sale will be added to the $1,600,000 base prize pool of TI 2025. Each bundle, depending on its tier, contains stickers, emoticons, voice lines and loading screens.

Fantasy and Predictions for everyone

This year, all Dota 2 players will be able to make predictions and create their fantasy line-ups. Those who will get things right are in for a treat, as both Fantasy and Predictions features include leaderboards that come with rewards for those who place in the top 15%.

• Top 100 players: Dota Plus subscription for 12 months, Arcana, free Aegis replica, all new Immortals.
• Top 1500 players: Dota Plus subscription for 6 months, Arcana, free Aegis replica, 2 new Immortals of your choice.
• Top 5%: Dota Plus subscription for 2 months, Arcana, 50% discount on Aegis replica purchase, 1 new Immortal of your choice.
• Top 10%: Dota Plus subscription for a month, Arcana.
• Top 15%: Dota Plus subscription for a month.

It is worth mentioning that the new Immortal items are, in fact, old ones recoloured in this year’s TI purple theme. The Aegis replica can be purchased for 150 euros, unless you place in the top 5% players or higher.

Along with the TI 2025 bundles and features, Valve has also announced that 75,000 win traders, smurfs, and other bad actor accounts have been banned.

TI 2025 is set to start on the 4th of September with all 16 participating teams seeded in a Swiss group stage. The group stage will run from September 4 to 7th, and at the end of it, the top 3 teams will head straight into the playoffs, the 4th to 13th placed teams will advance to an elimination round, while the bottom three teams will be eliminated. The exact dates for the elimination round have not been announced, but there will be five Bo3 series expected to take place sometime between September 8 to 10.

On the 11th of September, the TI 2025 playoffs will commence with the top 8 teams fighting in the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany, for the most wanted trophy of the year, the Aegis of Champions.
