ESL One Birmingham is back on the cards, as the tournament organisers confirm a return to the United Kingdom in 2026.

In 2026, Birmingham will once again take centre stage in the world of esports as ESL One returns to the UK with a landmark event in March, this time alongside DreamHack. While 2025 saw us head off to Raleigh all the way back in April, Birmingham will treat us to a massive showdown in early 2026. With Team Falcons having won the 2024 iteration of the event, they could get a chance to defend their title – especially after becoming the champions of TI 2025.

ESL One Birmingham makes a comeback

By the time ESL One Birmingham 2026 rolls around, it would have been nearly 2 full years since Dota 2 has landed in the United Kingdom. Previously, in 2024, we saw a massive event in which over 18,000 fans packed into the Resorts World Arena for a magnificent showing of Dota 2. Since then, we have seen the rise and fall of a few teams, but that will not take anything away from the upcoming tournament.

ESL One Birmingham 2026 will bring together 16 of the top Dota 2 teams battling for a $1,000,000 prize pool. This time around we will see the event take place alongside DreamHack, which means even more crowds, and a bigger atmosphere. 2026 will see the event return to the same venue, although now under aa new name. Back in 2024, have already changed from the Genting Arena to Resorts World Arena, the venue was renamed as the bp pulse LIVE.

While the event is still some time away, tickets will go on sale later this month, on September 23rd. While no further information is currently available on the teams and schedule, we do know that the playoffs will take place from March 27-29, giving everyone at least 3 days of live Dota 2 action from the arena.

We will have more information on ESL One Birmingham 2026 in the upcoming months, as it becomes available.
