All rdy: Your weekly recap of February 2nd- February 8th
Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the esports scene. Amidst the constant swirl of drama, tournaments, patches, and roster swaps, there’s always something unfolding behind the stage. From surprise upsets and standout performances to off-stage hiccups, each week brings a fresh mix of chaos and exctiment to our favorite (and often times most hated) games.
Counter-Strike 2

Tournaments
The story of the weekend in the Counter-Strike world is the same as it’s been for most of last year; Team Vitality are the best team in the world, and look like being so for a long, long time.
The reigning Major champions took to Krakow and came away with one of the few trophies that really matter this year, just like they did for nearly every big trophy last year. It’s starting to get a little boring; but seeing ZywOo drop 90 on some fools is always entertaining.
A Grand Final 90 kill series in 84 rounds. For those of you who failed your GCSEs, that’s more than one kill per round. Quite good.
FURIA continue to impress, but their streak of winning tournaments came to a grinding halt at the Major, and they were never in any danger of winning this one, either. They took map one with an insane comeback, but they were down 9-3 for a reason.
We’re starting to get into Astralis territory.
Dota 2

Tournaments
BLAST Slam VI
BLAST Slam VI officially moves into the Playoff Stage and that means six teams have already been eliminated. The bottom four teams from the groups were given one final opportunity to reach the playoffs. REKONIX](https://rdy.gg/en/dota2/teams/458) and MOUZ were the first to go. Although GamerLegion survived the Last Chance phase, they fell shortly after in the Play-In phase. Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming and shockingly Tundra also didn't make the cut to advance to the playoffs.
A new champion will therefore be crowned from among HEROIC, Team Yandex, OG, NAVI, Team Falcons and Team Liquid.
There is a break in the action until the weekend when the playoffs will take place.
DreamLeague Division 2 Season 3
Eight teams are competing for the last slot at DreamLeague Season 28, as well as the lion's share of the $50,000 prize pool. While the tournament is listed as a Tier 3 event, it is anything but. As the Group Stage has come to an end, Aurora Gaming are undefeated heading into the playoffs. Inner Circle and Team Silk have been eliminated.
Players and Teams
Team Secret has officially stepped away from Dota 2 competition, marking the quiet close of one of the scene’s most defining eras. While the news isn't exactly shocking to anyone, given their lack of presence in the competitive landscape and Clement “Puppey” Ivanov's move to PARIVISION as coach, it still stings for many aging fans.
Ivan "4IVAN" Moshkovskiy has been suspended from all EPL tournaments, including EPL Season 34, following reports and pending investigations of unfair play. The accusations include match-fixing during a game against Ilbirs eSport. The player disconnected a few times before connecting a final time and standing on the base for 26 minutes. Gambling site screenshots showed a $155k bet on the game sparking speculation 4IVAN was involved.
